Outdoor Shelves

Solid oak outdoor bar shelves with black steel pipe for an industrial, almost steampunk-like look.

If you can dream it – I will do my best to make it.

These shelves started out as a discarded red oak log that a rain storm downed in my neighbor’s yard.

I “rescued” the log, took it to a sawmill and had it cut into boards of various thicknesses.

After drying first outside and then in my shop for several years the wood was ready for its new life as shelves.

A nice red oak slab!

We wanted the finished shelves to be a combination of natural and industrial look so I preserved the live edges on the boards.

Two shelves cut to size, sanded and ready for finish.

CHEERS!
